Toby is a senior partner of the firm known for his practical approach to client engagement and outcomes. He has been engaged in a variety of complex transactions over his career and has extensive experience assisting Australian and overseas companies in relation to matters relating to ASX, undertaking large and small acquisitions and disposals, and complex takeovers and demergers.
Toby acts for a number of clients in the resources, cyber security, life sciences and digital asset sectors.
Toby is a former Governor of the University of Notre Dame Australia and a former member of the University's Finance and Audit Committee and School of Law (Fremantle) Advisory Board. In 2018, the University named the Toby Hicks Service to Student Community Award in honour of his contribution to the University over 23 years.
Toby is the contact for the firm’s relationship with the Singapore Chamber of Commerce (Western Australia).
